Increíble arte conceptual de 'El Despertar de la Fuerza' [18 imágenes]

Industrial Light & Magic's art department is the birth place of the iconic look and feel of the Star Wars universe. The department recently shared their portfolio from Star Wars: The Force Awakens on the ILM website. It includes some incredible concept art for the movie.

Some of it has some surprising tidbits that didn't make it into the movies such as Jakku with some tall buildings.

Perhaps Han Solo was supposed to have a beard.

Pretty happy we did not get a hipster Luke Skywalker with a man bun.

Looks like earlier versions of BB-8 included what look like tire treads.

Maybe this is where Supreme Leader Snoke lives?

Looks like Kylo Ren's lightsaber didn't originally have a cross guards.

TIE fighters with folding wings.

Others parts made it to the big screen with almost no changes at all like this epic shot of the final battle on Starkiller Base.

To see the rest of the concept art head over to Industrial Light & Magic's website right HERE.
